The Veloset GPS VS-600 provides a high sensitivity GPS tracking device for cyclists, runners, walkers and hikers. It will track your speed, distance, time, odometer (miles/kilometres), GPS coordinates and altitude, all backed up to PC with the supplied software and displays your routes on google maps and 3d Earth (where available). You can even add on geo tagged photos of your journey to your saved routes.
This compact cycle computer delivers all the essential functions you could need to analyse your performance and journey, complete with data logging and a light sensor activated back light, which convenientley instantly illuminates the screen when it detects poor light.
As all details are recorded by satellite, there are no wires, no magnets, no sensors, you can simply use it anywhere, for cycling quickly clip onto the quick release bracket for easy installation and removal. For walking or running simply slip the device into your pocket or backpack or consider adding the additional accessory of the Veloset GPS wrist band.
Whilst in motion, the Veloset GPS VS-600 can display your speed, distance (Miles/Kilometres/Nautical) , trip time and altitude. It records your GPS co-ordinates at a preset interval of every second . The data logging function will record your complete route for you to view on Google Earth/map. Simply connect the unit to your PC using the USB cable provided and upload to the software. You can save all your data, maps and routes, and create different folders for different purposes, for example, work, sport and travel. The Veloset GPS MG-600 also alllows point of interest tagging so that you can tag favourite addresses or landmarks along your journey.
Featuring the incredibly useful 'speed behind reminder' . This function alerts you when your current speed is lower than your average speed , the screen will flash every 3 seconds to encourage you to speed up, a great way to ensure you perform to your best! The unit also features an automatic light-sensor which will turn the light on automatically when it goes dark or you enter a dark place, for example a tunnel.
The Veloset GPS VS-600 is easy to attach to your bike and can be positioned on the handlebars or stem. Simply turn on the Veloset GPS VS-600 and GPS will automatically obtain your position within a few seconds, you are then all set to go!
