Why might LED Lights cause interference with wireless cycle computers

Veloset 212 FAQ REF: 18

LEDs lights limit battery voltages by alternating the power supply on and off at a high frequency, which can generate an electrognetic field which can interfere with wireless devices including cycle computers. If the LED  light is moved about an inch further across on the handlebars, it will reduce the problem .

Auto GPS logging flag - Veloset GPS 600

make sure the data logger is off, if the data logger flag is on the screen, you cannot change time zone in mid route. The setting for the auto log may be set to on so it will not allow you to change it without turning it off, this is done in the following way.

1. The top of screen has a flag icon, (see attached images) this means the data logger is on , please press the top right white button for 3 seconds to turn it off.
2. This data logger is off when the flag icon isnt showing at the top, you can then change time zone.

ensure you have a GPS signal to update the world time.. This will update after a short while.

Access “Time zone”
press Next (left touchpad button)  the + number increases to adjust for GMT BST local time if needed

press Enter to set .

How to show Elevation profile in Google Earth

Veloset 600 FAQ REF: 17

Elevation profile Google Earth

Explore the elevations of a particular path through the Elevation Profile. To start, either draw a path or open an existing one. Once you've chosen a path from the Places panel, there are two ways to see its Elevation profile. Either go to Edit > Show Elevation Profile, or right-click on your path from the Places panel and select Show Elevation Profile. An Elevation Profile will appear in the the lower half of the 3D Viewer as shown below:

The Y-axis of the chart displays the elevation, and the X-axis of the chart displays the distance. When you move the cursor through the various parts of the Elevation Profile, the arrow moves along your path and displays the elevation (left side of arrow) and cumulative distance (above the arrow). The % number displayed represents the % grade or slope.

If you'd like to select a specific portion of the path, hold the left-click button on your mouse while you move the cursor over the desired area, then release the button. This metrics above the line chart will then be displayed for this specific part of the path, and the graph will automatically highlight this section.

To change the metrics' scale between feet and meters, select

and select your preference under the category
